The game
The Ledger Syndicate is a character-driven space sandbox: a game of strategy and intrigue where the drama isn’t scripted, it grows out of people, and carries across generations.
Trade, smuggle, gather information and call in favors across the hundred systems of the Aether, where eight Hegemonies hold a peace that’s close to breaking. Further out lie the Frontier and then the Beyond, where no law reaches.
01 — The galaxy
Every playthrough generates a galaxy of thousands of star systems, stars, planets, stations and the people who run them. Only about a hundred, the Aether, are tamed and fought over; past the Frontier stretches the Beyond, and most of it will never be touched by anyone. The worlds you map, trade with and remember are yours; let them fall out of date and the galaxy moves on without you.
02 — The powers
Eight great powers hold the Aether in a cold peace, each built on one of the five Cultures, each ruled by a House with its own grudges. One of them is quietly growing. Select a Hegemony.
03 — The peoples
The Aether never agreed on how to live without a center. It split into five answers, five Cultures, diffuse and mixed across every Hegemony, in permanent friction. Together they hold 25 Subcultures and dozens of Traditions.
